The Senators built a capital-city jersey. The sweater is black with gold, and the centurion crest on the chest is stitched in a brushed metallic gold thread that gives it a ceremonial look.
Most of the details come from Parliament Hill. The sleeves carry a design based on the Peace Tower clock, and the name and number font is shaped like the Gothic arched windows and doors found across Ottawa's historic buildings. The shoulder patches show the S logo in English on one side and French on the other, a nod to the city's bilingual identity. Inside the hem, the Alexandra Bridge to Gatineau frames the Ottawa wordmark.
On the ice it is all black: helmet, pants, gloves and socks. If you want a black jersey that does not feel like a generic third, the gold crest is what sets this one apart.
