Chicago's Remix jersey is green, the first time the Blackhawks have used a green base color in a game. The front keeps the club's standard crest, stitched with a chain-stitch embroidery technique, and the gold tomahawk shoulder patches get the same treatment along with small white four-leaf clovers.
The theme is the city, not just St. Patrick's Day. Each sleeve carries four debossed six-pointed stars from Chicago's flag, black and cream stripes frame the sleeves and hem, and the inside hem marks 50 years since the "I Will" civic motto first appeared on the team's home jersey.
Reaction in Chicago has been mixed, partly because the look recalls the green warm-up jerseys the team wore on St. Patrick's Day before the league ended specialty warm-ups in 2023. Four of the six games fall in the week before St. Patrick's Day, so it is a natural pick if you go to games in March.
