Scene from Long Island that inspired the Islanders Remix design — Illustration of the design inspiration, not a product photo.

Long Island revived its most argued-about logo. The Fisherman, used in the mid-1990s, returns as a streamlined silhouette on a white sweater with a navy lace-up collar. The navy shoulder yoke carries teal and orange striping, colors from that same era.

The ocean runs through the details. The waist stripes are cut into a wave pattern with LONG ISLAND - NEW YORK inside, the shoulder patch is an updated lighthouse with LI on one side and NY on the other, and the name and number lettering borrows from the crest wordmark with small fish-hook details.

Reactions have been split, which is fitting for a logo that has always divided fans. With 11 games and five head-to-head Remix matchups, you will see it often.

Our jersey drawing shows colors only, without crests or lettering.
