Scene from Los Angeles that inspired the Kings Remix design — Illustration of the design inspiration, not a product photo.

The Kings went back to the colors they wore from 1967 to 1988, purple (which the club once called Forum Blue) and gold, for their 60th season. The chest uses the chevron crest from the Gretzky era with LOS ANGELES across the top and KINGS below in a Hollywood-style serif, framed by a purple crown outline and pinstripes.

Gold, black and white stripes run across the sleeves and waist, and palm trees are debossed into the arms. Inside the jersey, a gold Los Angeles sits between six diamonds, one for each decade of Kings hockey.

It is worn with black helmets and pants, purple gloves and purple socks striped in black, white and gold. Fans who grew up on the purple-and-gold era will recognize it right away.

Our jersey drawing shows colors only, without crests or lettering.
